What is an ISP EFIN and why do I need it?

An ISP EFIN is an "Intermediate Service Provider" EFIN which is new standard for Service Bureaus and Software Providers. This EFIN will be exclusively used for your Service Bureau and cannot be used to electronically file returns.

This EFIN must ONLY have the Intermediate Service Provider Designation on the EFIN Application.
